Learning Outcomes
The student understands the requirements on a renovation project caused by the functional and technical aging process in relation to the architectural tradition of buildings. He is able to use his knowledge in the building design of a renovation project.
Contents
The historical tradition of buildings, protection of buildings; the aging and deterioration of materials and technical systems; aging of functions of spaces; changes in the use of buildings; design alternatives in renovation and the materials and procedures.
