The student gets basic knowledge of building design and related professional tasks.

Contents

A building designer's job description, required qualifications, basic terms in building design, sources of information and databases; Standards and measuring systems in construction; external and partition walls, below grade structures, roofs and stairs; functionality of a building, basics of design of premises.
