Learning Outcomes

The student can calculate the resistances of the cross sections under different loadings. The student can determine the division of the internal forces of structures according to the theory of plasticity.

Contents

The constitutive equations and fundamentals of the theory of plasticity. The applications of the theory of plasticity to the analyses of structures, steel– and reinforced concrete structures. The resistances of the cross sections. The ultimate loads of continuous beam and frame structures.
