Learning Outcomes

The student is familiar with the theory of finite lement methods of of bar structures. The stduent knows how to use finite lement method in the analysis of bar structures. The student can apply plastic methods for bar and slab structures which base on theory of plasticity. The student knows how to use stability theory to define the critical load for bar structures and slab structures. The student knows the basics of dynamic structures to use as a basis for dimensioning the strucural vibration. The student can analyse torsionally stressed structures.

Student's Workload

The student's work load 160h of which 48 scheduled.
