Learning Outcomes

The students will understand the functions of various machine elements, will be familiar with their alternative structures and applications and will learn to dimension basic machine elements.

The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Contents

The design of welded and screwed joints with a static load and basics with the fatique load. Operating principles, selecting and design of ball and roller bearings. Selecting and designing belt and chain gearings.
