Learning Outcomes
The student can present a company and a product in the field of mechanical engineering. S/he can read texts in the field of mechanical engineering and understands most of them. S/he also knows the most important vocabuiary in the field and in the common core theme. S/he can write documents related to the projects of the common core theme. The student can tell about her/his own education in English. S/he also manages in telephone situations related to work and mechanical engineering.

Assessment Criteria
Grade 5: The student is able to communicate fluently, almost without mistakes, both in speech and in writing in work-related situations. S/he has an extensive vocabulary of the field and understands field-specific texts without difficulty. The student can produce a well-structured and almost faultless project report.
Grade 3: The student knows the essential vocabulary and understands the texts in the field. S/he is able to participate in a work-related conversation, with occasional mistakes and errors in the speech. The student is able to produce a project report or an abstract for it.
Grade 1: The student knows the basic vocabulary of the field and understands the main points of texts in the field. S/he can follow work discussions and can give a presentation by reading it from the paper. The student is able to produce a satisfactory project report, or an abstract for it, using a template.
