Learning Outcomes

The student will learn to measure operations related to machine shop production, according to the standards set by quality systems whilst taking into account possible problems and sources or errors.

Student's Workload

Total work load of the student 81 h, of which
- scheduled studies 42 h
- autonomous studies 39 h
The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.

Contents

Measuring errors, calibration of measuring equipment, of manual, electric and laser and 3D measuring type. Data acquisition of measuring results and statistical analysis.

Handouts provided by the lecturer.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Lectures and laboratory exercises. Components dismantled in the vehicle project are utilised as measuring objects in the laboratory.
