Learning Outcomes
The student will be familiar with the methods, principles and processes of product design. The student will be able to apply these methods in designing machines and equipment.

Contents
Defining product and life cycle, ecological aspects, design process, tolerances, product series and modules, materials selection, surface treatments, designing for automatical assembly.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods
Lectures and exercises. Lecturing and exercises will be integrated into the ongoing 3D-product development project.
