The student is familiar with the technologies use din energy production and with the future prospects of energy production and consumption. The student is able to consider the methods of energy production from the environmental point of view.
Student's Workload
Total work load of the cource: 81 h
- of which scheduled studies: 42 h
- of which autonomous studies: 39 h
The assessment of student’s own learning 1 h is included in contact lessons.
Prerequisites / Recommended Optional Courses
No prerequisities
Contents
The emphasis is on the energy production methods utilised currently but also on the methods the use of which will increase in the future. This gives a a good basis to study also the future models in enrgy production and consumption. Environmental impacts are an essential part of the study unit.
