Learning Outcomes

The student will have a knowledge of the components and control methods of proportional hydraulics and pneumatics as well as the techniques related to open and closed control systems. The study unit will focus on electro-mechanic and hydraulic servo systems and the methods of closed loops.

Contents

The components, structure, operation and application of electro-hydraulics which uses stepless control. The operation, components, dimensioning of the model system, sensors in feed back, closed loop control techniques and tuning of hydraulic, pneumatic and electro-mechanic servo systems.
