Learning Outcomes
The student will have a knowledge of the structure and external devices of programmable logic units and programming in applications related to machine automation. The goal is to achieve basic skills in selecting the right logics system for an application and mastering different control situations.

Contents
Selecting the appropriate programmable logic unit for an application, connecting digital and analogue signals to the logistic, mathematical operations and conversions, using the bus interface in an application, display panels, and shaft control. The study unit contains numerous exercises in application programming using the selected logic.
