Learning Outcomes

A task set by industry will be implemented in the project, to be carried out in teams. The theme of the project is to be selected from a field covered within the degree program of mechanical engineering. The project assignment can also be part of a bigger project.

Contents

The project will be carried out in teams following the working methods commonly used in projects. A project manager is to be eleted for every team. Project meetings will be held to follow up the the project work, with the representative of the respective company and a member of the teaching staff participating. A goal and a schedule will be set for the project. A written document will be made on the project.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

A student or a team will be responsible for finding the target for the project. Both individual work and team work done within the project will be assessed. The project will have a separate instructor and supervisor, one being a representative of the company and the other a member of the teaching staff.

5: The tools of controlling the project are widely used in project planning and implementation. The results of the project can be used in processes.
