Learning Outcomes

The student will be able to create mfg files for a 2-5 axis NC machine by means of Pro/ENGINEER software, from the manufacturing model to the simulation and postprosessing. The student will obtain a step-by-step knowledge of the process.

Contents

Creating the mfg model and operation containing machine tool, co-ordinate system and retraction surface. Creating NC Sequences and their simulating. Creating CL data files.
