Learning Outcomes

This project can be a separate, more challenging project than the previous one or a continutation of a previous project. It will be carried out in teams, on a target set by industry. The theme of the project is to be chosen from the field covered within the degree programme of mechanical engineering. It can also be part of a bigger project.

Contents

The project will be carried out in teams following the working methods commonly used in projects. A project manager is to be elected for every team. Project meetings will be held to follow up the project work, with the representative of the respective company and a member of the teaching staff participating. A written document will be made on the project.

Material will be chosen according to the needs of the projects.

Mode of Delivery / Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

A student or a team will be responsible for finding a target for the project. Both individual and team work done within the project will be assessed. The project will have a separate instructor and supervisor, one being a representative of the company and the other a member of the teaching staff.

5: The tools of controlling the project are widely used in project planning and implementation. The results of the project can be used in processes.
