Learning Outcomes
The student will be able to produce parametric 3D- solid models of various components. He/she is also able to combine these models to assemblies as well as to present the designs in a form of engineering drawings.
Student's Workload
Total work load of the course: 108 h, of which
- scheduled studies: 56 h
- autonomous studies: 52 h
Contents
The principle of feature-based modeling, creating features and their hierarchy. Building a part model, sketching and using constraints. Making of the various features, copying and patterning. Parameters, relations and product family tables. Assembly modelling, constraints and exploded views. Manufacturing drawings, assembly and exploded assembly drawings, part lists.
