Learning Outcomes

The student will master the basics of various telecommunication protocols and telecommunication methods. He will be able to compare various computer networks to each other with respect to costs, efficiency and reliability and be able to design a computer network. He will know the development in the branch, basic techniques of most important common data networks, and be able to follow the literature of the field.

Computer Networks and Internet. Physical Layer. Link Layer and Local Area Networks. Network Layer (IP) and Routing. Transport Layer (TCP/UDP).
