Learning Outcomes
The aim is to provide the student with a basic knowledge of coffee and cigars and their cultures. What are the most populare coffee trends in Finland
The students can plan special themes around coffee and cigars with various products taking into consideration the traditions connected to serving different coffees and cigars. They practice teamwork assuming responsibility and assessing their own performance as well as that of others.

Contents
Theory of history of coffee and cigars. Cultures of differens coffees and cigar. Handling and selling cigars and coffee, drinking cultures in different countries. Students own product development, teamwork.

Assessment Criteria
Satisfactory 1:
The student knows the most common coffee varieties and the proper method of making coffee. He/she recognizes the main cigar types and brands and their characteristics.
Good 3:
The student knows the various mehtods of making all special coffees and he/she realizes their significance in planning a business idea.
Excellent 5:
The student has the skill to plan a new business idea involving coffee and cigars and he/she is able to create new products

Active participation, demonstration of skills in group and individually, examinations.
