Learning Outcomes
The student attains the language skills needed in learning professional language. The student knows the basic structures, essential vocabulary and standard language. The student has a positive attitude towards language learning and understands the significance of language skills in working life.

Communicative language learning, pair and group exercises, active participation in contact teaching and independent studying.
Assessment Criteria
Grade 1: The student speaks passable Swedish in everyday speaking situationsa nd writes passable Swedish.
Grade 3: The stduent speaks fairly good Swedish in everyday spekaing situations and writes fairly good Swedish.
Grade 5: The student speaks good Swedish in everyday spaeaing situations and writes good Swedish.

Exams, continuous assessment, home assignments.
