Learning Outcomes

CEFR B1. The student attains the oral and writing skills in the second official language in accordance with the Language Decree 6.6.2003/424. The student is able to communicate orally and in writing in various situations of working life

Student's Workload

The total work load 135 h, of which scheduled stuides 70h and autonomous studies 65h.
The assessment of student’s own learning 1h is included in contact lessons.

Contents

Exercises of spoken and written language needed in working life. Practising interaction situations in working life.

Assessment Criteria

Grade 1: The student can communicate orally and in writing in simple and routine tasks and situations understandably i most parts. The student understands the essential parts of speech and writing where the topic is familiar.
Grade 3: The student manages fairly well orally and in writing in work tasks and in everyday situations. The student can write a unified text contentwise. S/He understands speech in normal tempo but more rare topics cause problems.
Grade 5: The student can communicate fluently and using an appropriate style even in more challenging situations in wokring life. S/he is active in interactive situations and can use the language learnt in various ways. The stduent understands and can produce more complex speech and text.

Assessment Methods

Active participation in the instruction, assignments (oral and written), written exams and oral exam.
