Learning Outcomes
Student has the ability to identify carbon emissions and emission reduction potential and possibilities in different scales (inhabitants, products, companies and organizations, communities and states).
Student can perform basic carbon accounting for organizations and life cycle assessment for products.
Student is familiar with different carbon offsetting mechanisms and their reliability. Student knows how both natural and artificial carbon sinks work.

Carbon neutrality, emission reductions, carbon accounting, life cycle assessment (LCA) and life cycle thinking, carbon sinks, CCS and CCU, carbon offsetting.
