Learning Outcomes
Mechanical engineering contains a wide field of technologies, which includes all machines and devices intended for mechanical work. In this course there will be just the basics of mechanical engineering, so that energy or environmental engineers will have a critical general know-how related to mechanical engineering. Energy or environmental engineers will not design machines or equipment, but they will order and utilize various mechanical engineering solutions on their work duties.
Student's Workload
135 h including appr. 45 h of scheduled contact teaching and appr. 90 h of independent study.
Contents
Basic information and general properties about metals, material testing, general basic information related to production and manufacturing technology, as well as coating and coating methods, which energy and environmental engineering engineers will need in their work duties.
