Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, students will be able
1. to explain (Understand) the fundamental concepts of matter, atoms, molecules, and ions, and relate them to applications in energy technologies.
2. to apply (Apply) scientific notation, significant figures, and stoichiometric principles to perform accurate chemical calculations.
3. to analyze (Analyze) and classify different types of chemical reactions, including gas-phase processes, in the context of energy systems.
4. to evaluate (Evaluate) energy changes in chemical reactions by interpreting thermochemical and electrochemical data relevant to energy production and storage.
Student's Workload
135 h including schedules contact teaching and autonomous studies.
