Learning Outcomes
The student is familiar with the general aims of building design and structural engineering. The student knows the scopes of deliveries and importance of costruction works and infrastructure as part of power plant project. The student knows the typical construction materials and production technologies of power plants and the relation of construction work with equipment deliveries. The student is able to take into account the project tasks of infrastructure and facilities construction as part of a power plant project.

Contents
Building and construction design of power plants. Phases of infrastructure and building construction. Materials and production technologies for power plants,
application of type structures, product development for fast construction. General plans for construction sites, infrastructure works, logistics for contruction and equipment deliveries, materials and subcontracting, supervision and control of subcontracting, finishing works at the site.

Assessment Criteria
Grade 1: The student knows those subjects of the course, which are necessary for the forthcoming studies and working life.

Grade 5: The student is able to apply creatively the contents of the course.
Assessment Methods
Written exam 50 %, course work 50%.
