Define and implement key indicators of effectiveness, and use the data produced to evaluate and develop their work as a Nurse Practitioner and their area of advanced practice.
Contents
Key concepts (productivity, effectiveness, quality, safety, everyday effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness) and their relevance to Nurse Practitioner practice.
Frameworks for performance and effectiveness (e.g. PEPPA, PDSA, DMAIC), improvement methods (e.g. Ishikawa diagram, key driver model, failure mode and effects analysis), and key indicators (e.g. PREMs and PROMs).
The role of the Nurse Practitioner in evaluating effectiveness, and in utilising generated data to develop, lead, and advance their own area of advanced practice at individual, organisational, and system levels.
