Learning Outcomes
After completing the course, the student is able to:
Demonstrate competence in the comprehensive health assessment of the patient’s health status, the identification of needs for symptom management, and the use of clinical care and health promotion methods.
Apply and integrate advanced-level competence in the planning of care based on the individual needs and situation of the patient and their family members.
Demonstrate competence in conducting complex comprehensive health assessments and clinical examinations of the patient (including physical, psychological, social, and cultural dimensions of health), using evidence-based frameworks, tools, and methods.
Identify, assess, and make evidence-based care decisions independently within their own area of expertise, in collaboration with the patient, their family members, and members of the interprofessional team.
